Video from Schooltube
This video is all about the crowd showing their appreciation for the team. Support is so important in competitive games and it gets the team riled up and pumped so they’ll preform better. I put this video up to show everyone that people around the world love the game. I don’t exactly know what they are saying… but you can tell they have a great respect for their team and their pride.
Question 1- How have sports been important in your life?
Sports have been very important in my life. It has taught me responsibility and I realize that i love to travel. I’ve learned how to keep track of my soccer equipment- shinguards, ball, gloves, jerseys, shoes; and i learned how to do laundry because my parents don’t have time to wash all of my things before practice 5 days a week. Also, i play volleyball for my school team. That taught me how to be didicated to something and still be motivated to do my homework. For soccer, I’ve recently transffered teams and since I’m on this more competitive team, we’ve already traveled quit a bit. I’ve been to St. Louis twice, Iowa, Rockford, and in 2 weeks I’ll be going to Phoenix, and in May we’re going to Oregon. I’m really excited and I’m really glad to have this opportunity to go to these places because i probably wouldn’t have the chance to go to these places if it weren’t for soccer tournaments. For example, when we do go to Phoenix, Arizona, our coach is taking us on a trip to the Grand Canyon and i think everyone should see that because it’s one of the 7 Wonders of the World and it’s just absolutely AMAZING.

Gabcast! Blogging Class #12
Review on another blog.
The New York Times blog has amazing stories and updates on soccer teams around the world. Manchester United is one of my favorite teams so I clicked on them in the side bar and it had the latest news on what’s happening with players and coaches.
On this site you can click on just about any team name and you’re guaranteed to have news, stats, and other information to fill you in on that specific team. Cristiano Ronaldo got in a crash when he was driving his Ferrari through a tunnel. No other cars were part of this wreck but his car was destroyed. He wasn’t injured and he made it to practice in time and was training as usual.
This site also has an incredible blog roll. There are many sites listed in case you can’t find something you’re looking for. I strongly recommend this site. It also has other topics such as other sports, business, technology, health, science, opinion, etc. This is the New York Times blog with all of their information on it. This blog states that, “Goal, The New York Times soccer blog, will report on news and features from the world of soccer and around the Web.”

Another little soccer game
All you have to do is click on the ball and it will bounce up and you just keep clicking the ball. Aim for the coins and you’ll get more points. Have fun and good luck =D My high score is 27 and some one in my class got up to 50!
P.S. you might want to turn the sound off because it will get REALLY annoying and I’m sure you’ll figure that out in the first 10 seconds you play it.
Why kids would enjoy my blog.

My topic will not only affect kids my age, but people around the country. Kids greatly benefit from this game because it’s a fast moving game, you get down and dirty, and you can’t be afraid to get hurt.
Looking at this picture you can see that Paris, France loves the game just like many other countries. Almost everyone played soccer as a kid, I know i did, and it’s a great sport with plenty of action. When you get 13 or 14 it’s time to ask yourself, “Ok, I’ve been playing soccer since i was 4 years old, should I go all the way with this or do I stop here?” If you do make the decision to go through with it then great. If not, then oh well, you had a good run. It’s important to make this decision because when you reach U14 or U15 the level and intensity of the game increases and you have to be ready for it. People start getting more aggressive and they kick the ball a whole lot harder than they did when they were still wearing pig tails.
These days, more and more children are obese. Soccer is an all running game so you have to be in shape and ready to run. Soccer is competitive and it helps with foot skills. Also, it’s a team sport where everyone has to work together to score. There’s millions of moves you can do.

A fun soccer game to enjoy =]
Here’s a fun game to play. All you have to do is click on a spot on the goal and that is where the player will kick it. Try to get 3 goals and you win a trophy. There’s many trophies you can get so it will keep you busy and entertained. This game shows you what the idea of soccer is about. I’ll add another game that you can play full field so you really get the idea on how you play. Have fun =]
